Electronic money

Nowadays electronic money substitutes the paper money the same way as paper money substituted golden and silver coins once. In fact electronic money is the paying method that exists only in the electronic system, it means as electronic notes in specialised electronic systems. As a rule, all operations are held with the help of the internet. But there is also the possibility to use the electronic money with the help of other ways for example the mobile telephone.

Electronic money is not money but is checks or the certificates and other similar paying ways in dependence on the juridical model of the system and on the laws of the country. It may be released by banks and other organizations. Usually the emission of electronic money is not licensed and is not controlled by the government. But the works on the laws to regulate it are adapted almost in all countries.

Electronic money is the paying way made by any company while the real money is made by the central national bank of the certain countries.

Usually the electronic purse is created to use the electronic money. In fact electronic purse is the electronic analogue of the ordinary purse or the bank account. From the point of view of the owner the electronic purse is the unique indicator and one of interfaces that works with the system and that allows to control all financial operations with the money the owner has in the electronic purse. Sometimes you need to install special programs to work with electronic purses. But usually they are used with the help of ordinary ways such as WEB, WAP, SMS and IVR.
